Swimsuit Care

To preserve the quality, color, and shape of your DNUD swimsuit, it is essential to follow a few care instructions. Our swimwear is made from delicate fabrics that require special attention to ensure long-lasting wear, season after season.

After each wear

After swimming, rinse your swimsuit thoroughly with clean water to remove any traces of chlorine, salt, or sand. Avoid leaving your swimsuit damp or wet in its DNUD pouch, as prolonged moisture may damage the fibers and affect the colors.

Washing

Hand washing is strongly recommended. Use cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent, applied sparingly. To preserve the intensity of the colors, always wash colors separately.

Products to avoid

Sunscreen, tanning oil, and other cosmetic products may leave marks and weaken the swimsuit. We recommend rinsing it promptly after exposure.

Drying

After washing, gently squeeze out excess water without twisting the fabric, then lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Direct sun exposure may cause premature fading and affect the fabric’s elasticity.

Precautions for use

Be mindful of abrasive surfaces. Avoid sitting directly on rocks, stones, or pool edges, as they may snag or damage the fibers. Consider using a pareo or towel to protect your swimsuit.
